                 CAN YOU HELP ME TO IDENTIFY WHICH YEAR
             AND COLLECTION A VEHICLE IS FROM?

     Over the years I have formed a pretty good idea of what most Micro Machines collections consist of and
     what collections were available each year, which I have now put into this website.
     However, occasionally I have come across vehicles I hadn't seen before and couldn't place in a certain
     collection or year. Thanks to other collectors and ebay auctions I have put together an illustrated list
     of the vehicles I haven't been able to place, perhaps you can help? take a look at the pictures below.

     In addition to these vehicles there are some collections I have not yet been able to confirm,
     in other words I have not seen the actual collections so I can compare with catalogue pictures to see if
     they are correct or to check the collection's name. scroll down after the pictures of the cars to see if
     you can help me?

     First we have some early vehicles, I think a couple of them are original 1987 Travel City bonus cars:





     I think I have managed to place the following 3 cars, can you confirm any of them for me?
     I think the orange Hot Rod Corvette was a bonus car in the original 1987 Travel City - Service Station, but
     was it also used in a collection of vehicles from around 1987 or 88?
     I believe there was an early version of the 1988 Corvette collection where all 5 cars were red, as shown in
     the images on the backs of 1988 blisterpacks. Is this definately where the red Corvette Stingray came from?
     I have seen an early 1988 Street Racer collection which again matched the 1988 blisterack images. In it
     there was a black Plymouth Barracuda (as below). Is this the only set that this car came from?



     The following aircraft and bikes are exactly the same as 1989 releases but in different colours, I have no
     idea where they are from, apart from the possibility of Super 10 or Super 20 collections. The boat is a
     complete mystery as well, it also has no holes on the underside which all other Micro Machines boats have!




     This is possibly another Super 10 collection, using a variety of vehicles identical to 1989 releases, but
     in different colours (some from the picture above). I bought them all at the same time from one person.



     I know that the City Movers van came with the 1990 Bank/Warehouse City Scenes playset, but was it
     also from a collection of vehicles?



     I think these are likely to be from post 1989 collections, perhaps variant colour schemes of 1989 sets











     The next few images show a number of mystery cars which I have not been able to place,
     However I have seen most or all of these cars being sold on ebay on several separate occasions, all at the
     same time and in lots from the same sellers. This leads me to believe that they came from some sort of
     mystery Super 10 or Super 20 collection from around 1989.
     I know the yellow Tucker was included as a bonus car in the 1993 Reflectors #1 collection and in the
     bottom picture the black Nomad and Blue Ford were also from the 1990 Super 4x4 III collection,
     but again these vehicles were present in all 3 occasions of these cars being sold on ebay - more than
     just a coincidence.






     The following 5 Hot Rods seem to me like they would all be from the same collection,
     Perhaps from 1991 or 1992. The Camaro was included as a bonus car in the 1992 X-Rays #1 set.



     I have found that most Bonus cars from 1993 collections were originally found in earlier collections
     between 1990 - 1992. The following 3 vehicles were also bonus cars from 1993, but I have not yet been
     able to place them in collections from an earlier year, can you help?



     This RV has the same paint scheme as the classy chromer RV from 1992, except that it's white, not chrome?
     I have been told that this was a promotional item from Wendy's Fast Food outlets, can you confirm this?
     or better yet, can you show me one in its original packaging? What year was it released?



     These 6 Monster trucks are a mystery to me, I orignally thought they may be 1993, but have seen all of
     the collections from that year and they are not from any of those sets. Perhaps they are from 1992?
     I have not seen evidence of all the 1992 collections so it is possible.



     Can you tell me what this playset is or show me a picture?. It looks to be one of the Street Corners Playsets,
     but not one I recognise. It appears to occupy a corner plot like the Shell Service Station.



     Can you fill in the gaps or confirm the following collections?
     A photo of the actual set still in the blisterpack would help massively.

     Can you show me proof of the special edition 1991 Desert Storm Military collections?
     I have seen set #4 only once and assume there must have been others.




     Were the 1992 Drivers collections #3 and #4 ever put into full production and sold in shops?
